BIO

Bindu Varughese is a Lecturer in Nursing with extensive expertise in neonatal intensive care nursing, postgraduate education, and academic leadership. She brings over 23 years of clinical experience across Australia, Ireland, and India, including more than a decade as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in tertiary neonatal services. Bindu is actively involved in curriculum design, unit coordination, assessment, and online teaching for postgraduate nursing programs, with a strong focus on evidence-based practice, clinical reasoning, and family-centred care. She holds a Master of Advanced Nursing Practice from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Certificate in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing. Her scholarly interests include neonatal care, nursing education, assessment literacy, and developing future nurse leaders.
