With your luggage packed and ready to fly to Australia, we know you’re anxiously anticipating the next step in your journey.

To guarantee that you can take advantage of everything that IHM and Australia have to offer, there are a few steps you must follow: This includes verifying your visa, securing housing, budgeting for living expenses, arranging an airport pickup, and packing your belongings.
Confirm the status of your student visa
To study at IHM as an international student, you must obtain a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) and a student visa (subclass 500). Verify that you have been granted a visa.
Translate your immunisation certificate into English
To avoid unnecessary delays on your journey and upon arrival in Australia, ensure that your proof of vaccination is in English.
Find an accommodation
International students have a variety of housing alternatives, including Residential Colleges, student apartments, private rentals, hostels, share houses, homestays, and temporary housing.
If you wish to find long-term housing after arriving in Melbourne, we recommend that you arrange temporary lodging before departing your home country.
Arrange for an airport pickup
You must schedule your airport pickup three working days in advance of your arrival.
This is a 24-hour service provided by a variety of service providers; you can simply locate them by conducting a simple Google search. Don’t forget to reserve them before to your arrival. You can also arrange for a cab / taxi service to take you directly from the airport to your accommodation centre.
