BIO

I am a psychiatric social worker, translational researcher and academic with over 15 years of interdisciplinary experience at the intersection of mental health, public health, dementia care, and digital care technologies. My academic focus integrates inclusive pedagogy, and student-centered learning with a strong portfolio of applied research, and high-impact publications. My work integrates rigorous clinical training with applied research, digital health innovation, and cross-cultural program adaptation and focuses on developing and implementing culturally responsive, evidence-based interventions. I have taught and supervised students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contributed to high-impact projects funded by the WHO, Alzheimer’s Association, UNICEF, and NHMRC, focusing on carer interventions, psychosocial support models, and health system strengthening. I am passionate about research translation, equity, and cross-cultural collaboration in ageing and health, with a commitment to community impact and international collaboration.
