Dr. Priyanka Malaiyappan is a dedicated healthcare professional and public health researcher with an interdisciplinary background in medicine, public health, women’s health, and community health. She currently serves as the Research and Innovation Coordinator at the Institute of Health and Management (IHM), Australia, where she leads research development, supports academic initiatives, and fosters healthcare education innovation.
She holds a Master of Public Health (Gold Medalist) from Vinayaka Mission University, India, and a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery from Dr. MGR Tamil Nadu Medical University, India. Her career blends clinical practice and research, with prior working experience as a Consultant Homeopath, Physician Assistant, and Visiting Doctor in hospital settings, with a focus on women’s health. She has also contributed to community health through NGO and public health initiatives.
Currently, she manages research projects, supports students and faculty in scholarly activities, and collaborates with external partners and healthcare organizations. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in public health and enhanced her expertise through numerous workshops, WHO programs, and national conferences. As a Registered Medical Practitioner, she is committed to advancing healthcare through innovation, evidence-based practice, and education, with a strong passion for improving health outcomes across diverse communities.
