About the Course

The purpose of the General English programme is to help students build their foundational language abilities so that they can feel confident and ready to start their studies in English.

You can anticipate social outings and recreational time that will let you practise speaking English in a natural setting as part of the course, giving you the chance to gain confidence.

All facets of the English language—speaking, listening, pronunciation, grammar, reading, and writing—are developed in our general course. Your basic communication skills in practical English applications will improve. You will be asked to contribute as much as you can in your English class by working independently, in pairs, and in groups, as well as by taking part in activities that involve the entire class. Any international students who come from a non-English speaking background or whose first language is not English and want to improve their English language skills should take this course.
