BIO

Sandra Vellara Sunil is a Clinical Simulation Officer and OSCE Facilitator at the Institute of Health and Management (IHM), Australia. She is an AHPRA-registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and several years of clinical experience in acute medical-surgical and neurosurgical settings.

In her current role, Sandra oversees the coordination and management of simulation laboratories, supports OSCE preparation in North Melbourne campus, and facilitates skills-based training for internationally qualified nurses and Master of Nursing students. She is actively involved in developing simulation scenarios, organizing OSCE support programs, and ensuring high-quality, standardized clinical teaching aligned with NMBA requirements.

Sandra has a strong interest in simulation-based learning, clinical education, and student support, and is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that builds student confidence and clinical competence.
