BIO
Jody Laughton practiced as a social worker in the first twenty years of her career in the child, youth and family fields, and in services for separated families, in both government and community organisations, alongside 20+ years work in social work field education programs at The University of Melbourne, Deakin University, Victoria University, and more recently joined the Institute of Health and Management.
Jody’s coursework Master of Social Work focused on program planning and evaluation, and organisational and human resource management subjects. Jody has been a member of the Victorian Universities Field Education Network for 20 years, and co-contributor to presentations and articles on the development of a common assessment tool, evaluation of a rotational placement model in a health service; and issues that impact of a social worker’s capacity to supervise a student.
