BIO

Fariba Hosseinisazi is a Registered Nurse, academic, and researcher with over 30 years of experience in nursing practice and higher education. She brings a strong commitment to evidence-based care, reflective practice, and student-centred learning, informed by extensive clinical and academic experience across diverse healthcare and educational settings.

Fariba’s scholarly interests centre on women’s health, reproductive and mental health, sociocultural determinants of wellbeing, and health education. Her research reflects a particular interest in understanding how cultural, psychological, and social factors influence health outcomes, with a focus on improving equity and quality of care. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications and continues to engage in collaborative research and scholarly development.

Dedicated to lifelong learning and professional growth, Fariba remains actively involved in academic scholarship, curriculum innovation, and the integration of research into teaching. Her work is guided by a strong belief in nursing as a discipline that combines scientific inquiry, ethical practice, and compassionate care.
