Dr. Balasankar Ganesan is a distinguished researcher and clinician, ranked among the top 2% of scientists globally in clinical medicine, as recognized by the 2025, 2024 Stanford and Elsevier rankings. With numerous publications in prestigious journals, including The Lancet, his work has made a significant impact on the field. Dr. Ganesan holds dual PhDs in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU). He also earned a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from HKPU and recently completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a research specialization from the University of Wollongong, Australia.
Dr. Ganesan’s research expertise spans digital health technology, ageing, stroke, and the global burden of diseases.
