IHM ACHIEVES EXCEPTIONAL RANKINGS IN THE 2024 QILT SURVEY STANDING PROUDLY AMONG AUSTRALIA’S TOP UNIVERSITIES
The Institute of Health & Management (IHM) has achieved outstanding results in the 2024 Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) student experience survey, positioning itself as the only Higher Education Provider ranking alongside major Australian universities in the Postgraduate Nursing category.
These results reaffirm IHM’s commitment to delivering student-centred, industry-focused, high-quality nursing education for domestic and international learners.
Based on data published on ComparED site funded by Department of Education and powered by the QILT survey data, IHM’s performance reflects strong student satisfaction across key learning and teaching indicators.
What is QILT?
QILT is an Australian government-endorsed survey system that evaluates the performance of higher education institutions based on student and graduate experiences. It covers key areas such as Teaching Quality, Skills Development, Student Support, Learning Resources, and Quality of Educational Experience. The rankings provide prospective students with valuable insights, helping them choose institutions that best align with their academic and career goals.
HIGHLIGHTS OF IHM’S 2024 QILT PERFORMANCE
#1 in Australia for Skills Development
IHM ranked No. 1 nationally in the Postgraduate Nursing category, with an impressive 94.5% rating — surpassing the University of Tasmania, Victoria University, The University of Sydney, Monash University, La Trobe University and many others.

IHM ranked second nationally (71.9%), outperforming dozens of universities in fostering meaningful peer engagement, collaborative learning, and supportive cohort culture.
