BIO

Amy Harkin is an experienced engagement, policy and advocacy specialist with over 20 years’ experience across government and community sectors. Amy has qualifications in social work and public policy. She specialises in translating complex policy, data and lived experience into practical, trauma-informed service and system improvements. Amy has held senior roles at Victoria Legal Aid, the Department of Education, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Australian Red Cross, leading stakeholder engagement, policy reform and communications in sensitive and high-risk contexts. She is known for her collaborative approach, strong facilitation skills and commitment to fairness, inclusion and access to justice.
